Brief Job Description:

Technical professional who participates in design, test, development, and/or support of IBM Software Products and/or Systems. Develops new, modifies and improves, or supports existing software products and solutions. Work is usually part of a larger project. Works under the general guidance of more senior professionals, and decisions are aided by tools and processes. Performs basic software activities related to the development of a software product or Solution. Determines and examines software alternatives. Recommends and implements basic software solutions. Contributes towards project planning in the team or local unit. Understands and follows existing local development processes. Documents own work. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

We are looking for a software engineer who has strong computer science fundamentals and solid experience with industry-standard technologies to join our elite team of product development professionals. We are looking for an innovative software engineer who will drive all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements to design to development to test to release to customer success.

The candidate will work on the development of products pertaining to the APTRA™ Activate product suite, specifically on the Consumer Flow components. The applicant will provide software engineering functions for a development team. The candidate should have 1-3 years experience in Software Development and a degree in CS/ IT / SE or equivalent. Involvement of the candidate will span the development life-cycle, including planning, designing, and test-driven development.


Skill Sets

• C#.NET, .NET Framework 2.0, XML, XSLT, Windows Forms Programming with C#.NET 2.0

• Fundamentals of computer science: object-oriented design and design patterns, data structures, algorithms.

Mandatory Skills:

Hands on experience in analyzing & recreating the problems in the products built with/on MS technologies - preferably Client/Server. Good understanding on the deployment environments & different configurations. Ability to troubleshoot a problem based of incident reports, assisting dev to reproduce the incidents. Ability to plan & deliver patches - Test and certify the patches on the simulated customer environments. Should be passionate, owner, excellent team player and ability to mentor other members. Should have Strong Analytical skills to identify the root cause & Problem solving ideas are required.
